U-SYNC Daemon not connecting to Ableton Live 12

Hi Simon,

Trying to get the process started but am falling at the first fence.

The U-SYNC Daemon recognises that the Nome 2 is connected but just says in greyed out letters: ‘Daw not connected’.

Have tried shutting everything down and restarting them (including Ableton Live 12), but nothing changes. No plugin is to be found either.

Any ideas why this isn’t working?

The way it works is

DAW -> U-SYNC VST plugin -> U-SYNC Daemon -> Nome II -> your machines

"No Daw connected" on the Daemon means it cannot see the plugin. Have you loaded the U-SYNC plugin on a track? If so, what does it say?
If you cannot see any plugin called "U-SYNC", please try reinstalling U-SYNC, make sure you set the checkbox for the plugin format you need (for Ableton it should be VST3).

Check also the Nome Manual section about U-SYNC, that will definitely be useful
