Sync 2 Nomes - works but how to send start and stop to second nome?

Hey there.

I have a first day midronome and a nome 2 in my setup.
nome 2 is connected to my MRCC distributing clock everywhere I need besides maschine plus. m+ is connected to my midronome via USB and follow midronome s clock works.
I also made the nome 2 and midronome show the same bpm whenever I change it on nome 2 but : how can I make midronome (which is synced to nome 2) start and stop clock in sync with the master nome 2?

Hi Frank!

Congrats on being one of the first with a Nome I & II combo - very interesting!

The idea when 2 Nomes are in sync, is that they sync both precisely their tempo/clocks but also the start of bar.
So if you press play on both of them at the same time they will start precisely at the same time.

It's the same concept as separating the 2 MIDI outputs with each their play button on one device: maybe you want to start some machines at bar X and some other machines at bar Y, not necessarily them all at the same time. But here you can get up to 4 Play buttons, with one for each MIDI port (2 on each device).

One way to go around the "pressing of both buttons at the same time", is to use one pedal that you plug in both devices. You will need a 2TS->TS adapter to plug the same pedal in both devices and on your Midronome you will need an Y adapter TRS-2xTS to use the pedal 2 - PE.2 setting).
