Forum single device login restriction

Was the current single device login restriction for account a conscious choice? Is it really helping to fight to spam or whatever is the reason? Can't the limit be increased to let's say at least 3 last devices?

I don't think we have any restrictions there? I am often logged in from multiple devices at the same time. Just make sure you use the "remember me" checkbox
