Analog 2/ring not outputting signal when following
Happy New Year! I just updated my Nome to fw5.2. When my Nome’s analog out is set to continuous it sends signal out of tip and ring based on the analog 1 and 2 settings as expected. When the analog out is set to follow nothing comes out the ring/analog 2 out. I’ve patched the Nome into the cable that I use with my Beatstep Pro’s clock out, which uses the same TRS config to separate clock and high-on-run to tip and ring. Ring shows signal with the BSP as usual so it’s not the cable. Is this expected behavior or have I missed something? Thanks.

Re: Analog 2/ring not outputting signal when following
Hi, welcome, and happy new year
This all looks normal. When you set the AnL setting to "FOL", each output (1 for left/tip and 2 for ring/right) follows its MIDI output, which follows its play button. 2 play buttons, 2 MIDI outs and 2 ANLG outs. So to get the ring part of the plug to play you need to press the second play button (on the right side).
Note that you can reconfigure both buttons, making for example the first button to start both Outputs
Check the Nome manual, the settings you want to look at are PL.1 and PL.2 (advanced settings).

Re: Analog 2/ring not outputting signal when following
Thank you! I just got it set up using the analog onto clock my eurorack system and it works great.
The only thing I find myself wanting is the ability to change the width of the analog reset signal. I have a sequencer that is a little quirky and likes to start on step two because it’s seeing the clock pulse after the reset pulse. And its reset input resets on gate high instead of rising edge of voltage, so if the reset stays high past step one it doesn’t ever advance to step two. I have some options to do this within the euro system but it would be simpler to just send a wider reset pulse on play. Thanks.

Re: Analog 2/ring not outputting signal when following
You mean for example when you set An.1 to "rES" (sending 5ms pulse when starting and when doing resync/restart), you would want to change the width of the pulse?
That's very easy, but I would prefer sticking to a value that works for everybody. So far 5ms works everywhere, or at least we have not heard of anyone mentioning this was an issue. What is your sequencer that will need a longer pulse, and how long will it need to be?

The sequencer is the Noise Engineering Mimetic Digitalis and since my last post I’ve discovered the ME doesn’t care about pulse width at its reset input. A trigger delay did the trick for me.
Thanks.
Thanks.
