Question on setting this up with my system:
I’m running Ableton on my Mac Studio. I have a Mio XL midi hub that routes to and from my outboard gear.
is clocking the Mac/Ableton adequate or do I need to distribute the clock to all the gear via the Mio XL?
If I need to distribute the clock to all the outboard gear via the Mio XL do I need to filter out the clock from Ableton?

(I assume you are the one who wrote by email, so I'll paste my reply here for reference )
You should not be sending any clock from Ableton (simply disable it in the settings), and yes you should use your MioXL to distribute the clock from one of the Nome II MIDI Outputs to the rest of your gear.
Tons of Nome owners use the mioXL and the Nome works great with it
