No Start/Stop and BPM change on Bitwig

Hi community,

I'm using Bitwig 5.3.8 and the most recent firmware on the Midronome and up to date U-Sync.

The VST is installed in Bitwig, U-Sync discovers the Midronome and the DAW. In Bitwig I have a proper controller installed and the sync set to the ext Midronome.

However Bitwig is not reacting to the start/stop and the Midronome is not getting into locked mode.

When use Bitwig as master the Midronome follows correctly. Maybe you can point me to the right directions. I checked the Macos Audio-Midi setup if there is any Nome related things left over, reinstalled everything and checked on multiple computers.

The problem is you are trying to sync Bitwig to your Nome over USB-MIDI, which conflicts with U-SYNC.
Make sure to deactivate the "sync/ext" to Midronome.
Make sure your Nome A.PL setting is not set to OFF.
Then just load the U-SYNC plugin and press play.

Once this works, for the bi-directional sync you will need to configure the controller as explained in section 6.2 of the U-SYNC Manual https://go.simntonic.com/u-sync-manual
