Nome 2 analog output

Post by Meneldor »

Short description of the issue:
I can't seem to get any analog clock out from my brand new Nome 2.
I've updated the firmware to 4.0, and it sends signal perfectly on DIN midi and metronome outs.
I have tried changing between the CONSTANT and the FOLLOW PLAY mode, but still nothing is triggered.

Setup (devices connected and how):
I have tried various cables (modular patch cables, mono) from the ANLG out to several sequencers and things that take triggers, but nothing seems to work.
Help?
Nome generation (I or II) and Firmware version:
Nome 2, FW 4.0

Hi :D

Can you confirm the settings An.1 and An.2 are not set to zero? Which synths have you tried it with - do they accept triggers at 5V?
Have you tried both left and right channels of the ANLG plug (it's a TRS/Stereo plug)?

If you have an LED patch cable that would also be a great way to verify the device is not sending anything.

If you've checked An.1 and An.2 and you're sure the issues are not because of voltage compatibility (most synths will accept 5V so this is unlikely) or bad wiring, then there is a chance your device has a hardware issue, please reach out to support@simntonic.com to proceed for repair/replacement :)

Awesome :)
Since this is not a bug - I'll move the topic.
