[F] Midronome bootloader upgrade - warning from Windows Defender

FYI: Windows Defender on Win 11 just blocked the download of the file due to a virus:

upgrade-midronome-bootloader-step1-windows.zip dated 2024-11-25

Could you please check this?

Well it's definitely not a virus
Everything inside the the zip is signed with a proper certificate, but apparently that's not good enough for Microsoft

The problem with these kind of issues is the whole thing is based on "reputation" and that reputation keeps improving every time someone marks the download as safe. I will submit the zip file to Microsoft for analysis, that tends to accelarate slightly the process.

The only things inside the zip are:

• the old "Firmware Updater" which you can download here: https://files.midronome.com/software/wi ... er-1.0.zip
• the special 99.9 firmware which upgrades the bootloader, also downloadable here: https://files.midronome.com/firmware/ol ... v99.9.midr

Try downloading them separately and let me know if these are identified as virus as well - thank you

no download issues with the individual files. Looks like there was a "false positive" warning for the ZIP file...
