Listen to pulses on both input channels

Hi, I found that Midronome only listens to 24ppq pulses on the tip of the input socket. It would be great to be able to send signals from two sources with a y-cable: one signal on the tip, the other on the ring. (As far as I know the input socket is TRS.) Of course I don't want to use them at the same time, but that way I could send sync signals from my DAW and from my workstation without using a mixer or without swapping cables.

Thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately that will not be possible, not without changing the hardware at least
(the ring part of the plug is a simple digital input and will only accept a footswitch)
