Metronome mute extension (post FW 5.2)

MUTE DEBATE
I think depending on workflows, people might want different metronome mute setting depending of whether they are starting playback or triggering re-sync.

I only use first play button as play and have the other one ready to toggle metronome, so I can always easily turn it on / off. But it still manages to get the first click through after the re-sync before I manage to mute it again manually.

So maybe consider option for re-sync to not enable the metronome again, as for example in my setup, I would mostly re-sync to fix sequencers first beat de-sync downstream without wanting to re-engage metronome.

This might not really be universally practical, therefore....

MUTE / VOLUME REQUEST
Can the metronome volume be extended to 0-0, that would effectively mute the metronome output independently of the mute button function? That would give us freedom to use both MIDI outs and still have easy on-device control of the metronome mute.

MUTE BUG
On the other hand, there is arguably a bug in the mute F.O.L. implementation. The metronome starts immediately when starting from stopped state, whether using short press PLAY or long press RE-SYNC. However it doesn't start immediately when using re-sync during ongoing playback with muted metronome. It would be really practical if it started immediately here as well, especially in the F.O.L. case where it's unmuted afterwards anyway. These pre-sync ticks might be enough to get ourselves ready to actually start musically performing right when the re-sync occurs rather than waiting for another bar.

Hi Radek

Thanks for the time you spend diving deep into the device and writing suggestions. We cannot implement all of them obviously, but be sure we do read every single one of your posts and consider all of them.

This one makes very much sense and has a good chance of being part of the next release :)

The focus is still on U-SYNC for Windows these days, but as soon as development for the next Nome Firmware starts I will look more into this and update it here.
