Tap button not flashing when 2nd play button pressed.

Hi all, probably something I’ve done, when I press the 1st play button, the tap button flashes, as normal. When I press the 2nd button, the tap button doesn’t, is this expected behaviour or have I changed a setting somewhere? Is there a factory reset option also? Thank you in advance

Hey,

The TAP LED normally just blinks at the tempo (purple on downbeat, yellow on other beats).

There’s also a LED (TAP LED brightness) where it can be changed to:
• off
• constant
• follow play
• follow mute


If it’s set to “follow play”, it specifically follows MIDI Output 1. So depending on how you’re using Play 1 vs Play 2, that can explain why you see different behaviour.
