Hi there,
I just received the Nome II and so far it is awesome. I can't get the mute function to work though. When I press the settings button and I scroll through the options, the option "Adv" never appears (as it says in the manual it should). What am I missing?

That's because you need to upgrade the firmware to 4.0. Just download the software on http://simntonic.com/support and press "Check for updates..." (more info in the Nome manual).
