An App for configuring the Midronome?

After reading through the manual and noticing a lot of features (main plus extended), I'm curious if there is any thought on creating an application that can set these parameters?
As much as a polarizing company (rhymes with Dehringer) is, their Synth Tool app has the ability to both update firmware and get/set configurations on the devices. While these settings can most often be set using Street Fighter combo moves on the device itself, it's often much simpler to see it all on screen in full text (as opposed to checking your secret decoder ring to see what Nvr.2 means on a segmented display).
