Anyone RECENTLY with sync issues after macOS or Universal Audio Updates ?

Post by SeleN »

I am huntig down a weird usync behaviour and i had to go back to midronome plugin triggering. it just started to be out of sync after 2 or 3 times starting a cycle in a new project and then sends randomly pulses send behaviour (remind me of some kind of midi loopback but i definitely have none).
NOTE: it worked perfectly before something happened but i just can't remember any bigger sw update than updating to Ventura 13.7.5 and UAD 11.6.0
both released 31.3 and 1.4
As i am not at my studio right now: someone noticed similar strange behaviour after updates (not necessarily Ventura) recently and could solve it by re-doing file access in security settings for daemon ? (clearing daemon app inside access , restart comp, putting daemon app again to security settings and allow ?)

@ Simon: is usync daemon using the Endpoint Security API ?

Ok for those who are interested: i found the "problem" . i posted a video under the link simon mentionned. long hunt short solution -> You have to have to ACTIVATE "Playback and Live Tracks for multithreading" when you have a track selected with an external instrument plugin. in my setup (Macosx 13.7.5/LP11.01) it was the only solution when playing with logic. Or, if you'd like too, you don't use external instrument plugins for your external synths and go the old way with external instrument midi tracks.
