regarding the beat detection. i can connect an audio cable from my dj mixer to the module and see than the bpm right?

again a cool picture i thought the module will be inside the midronome. but this way it is even cooler. and maybe more modules could be swaped. i have no clue what else could be made

i think this is quite a smart idea. similar to the zoia. they have a normal pedal and a eurorack version. could be really smart

now you lost me, i thought that dongle needs to go in the audio output channel. or can you just attached it on the unit itself.

would it be possible to use existing dongles, such as the one from logitech you get with mouse or keybord? or any other?

i like more is more as well, but this needs to wait for the bigger brother

i have read your latest mail. great information and ideas. the module approach is a quite smart one. everyone who wants the features with wifi/bluetooth can add it.

heheheh you have tons of ideas simon. keep them coming. some mounting options are always a smart idea. but here i am not quite sure who would use that. i am more ghe producer mind and would have it next to my mixer and synths and not somewhere with an tripod.

such dongle would be a nice addon for post campaign. if the audio port would be used, do you loose the audio inout clock than? same for the usb port.

i know the more features the more complex navigation will be. and if there will be a v2 or bigger brother, you could squeeze in features which would not fit now.

is it possible to have the same clock on the midi 1, 2, and cv? so when i change the bpm knob all ports are effected and sync.

i don‘t have separat midi clock and use my keystep pro. play pause restart has an impact on all connected devices. i can pause play on each of the devices and they sync with the keystep clock. so i expect nothing different from midronome.

i hope it will have an impact.

you can always release a new mk or a bigger brother one day. nothing should be rushed or not well thought through.

i am not using much ableton link. are you happy with the performance?

i know i know i am stepping on many feet now. i don‘t need the metronom at all. but you can program the button so all fine for me. and i rather have many options which i don‘t need now but could be in the future. but i just got a purpose while writing. i could use it for beat matching practice

i think treating both outputs differently would be in general a good idea.

i never used such low and high bpm, but for experimental stuff and glitches very need idea. and i assume not so difficult to implement.

yes correct. it matters more or depends on the final feature set. having usb just for power is a waste i agree.

thanks for your insights. but to get it straight. what do you mean by midi routing. sending midi cc and notes via midi or usb or something more complex like filtering sending midi to output a and b. does the midronome transmit midi notes via the midi ports or only the clock?
