Re: Tempo detection from actual audio beat
Hi Simon, I think that Midronome 'slaving' it's clock and click to a drummer (probably acoustic but sometimes electric) via triggers would work as long as: The tempo is set before the song starts... So turn the dial to '132bpm' and start click and clock. After that...the Midronome could swap into sl...

Re: Nudge tempo function
This is a great idea.
Needs to be a one handed operation I think - ring finger press and turn with thumb and forefinger is possible.
Push and twist just the knob - maybe, depending on resistance, as Simon suggests.

Re: Tempo presets
Yes, this idea of memory locations for set lists crossed my mind also. There's an app called "band helper", that will run everything if you let it, but notably scrolling lyrics, charts, backing tracks, patch changes and light shows. It also does the accounts. And click tracks. But not midi...

Re: Using the audio input...
The drummer can set the tempo manually at the start of each song...leave it running and open the tune on hi hat or let the guitarist start or whatever. Midronome would need to drop into 'slave mode' once the back beat started. If that makes sense...so always looking at the audio 'trigger' input for ...

Re: Using the audio input...
Hi Simon, Thanks for your reply. I was looking at triggers for Kick Snare and Toms...into a mini mixer local to the drummer and sent in mono to the midronome audio input. However, the spill might be an issue (bleed from cymbals) without gating and filtering and some consistency ie limiting. All we n...

Using the audio input...
Hello! My question is: I'd like my drummer to drive the click and midi clock. :o I'd like midronome to speed up and slow down with him. I'd like my modx arps to stay in time... If I buss his kick and snare within the console to the midronomes audio input... Will it generate click and clock after the...
