Re: Start/Reset for ANLG output
Also, some feedback that is more on topic: The below quoted options are really nice, but might there be a need for a small delay between reset signals and clock? Certain sequencers may have a problem with receiving both signals at exactly the same time. I ran into this issue when clocking stuff from...

Analogue clock signal options
Copying my post from another thread as requested: Simon, would you consider adding a feature whereby the pulse of the analogue clock output can be adjusted? To clarify, I have been having reliability issues with my Korg SQ-1 when syncing it via analogue to the Midronome. Every now and then, it would...

Re: Start/Reset for ANLG output
I have been having reliability issues with my Korg SQ-1 when syncing it via analogue to the Midronome. Every now and then, it would jump a few steps and get out of sync. I see - great info! All your ideas seem to be very on point :) Would you mind creating a post about it in the “Midronome Bugs Rep...

Re: Audio Sync Track Necessary?
Now with firmware v2 you can use the E-RM Multiclock plugin, which works great and removes the need for an audio sync track. I think there is a new Midronome plugin as well, but have not tried it yet

Re: Audio sync without 1 bar delay
If the only communication between DAW and Midronome is Start/Stop, then they are not sync'ed together. Simply setting the same tempo on both of them means they each run on their internal clock, which cannot be exactly the same, so after some time (usually 2-3 minutes) you will start to hear the dri...

Re: Audio sync without 1 bar delay
I am experiencing that there is a small static timing offset that is not always the same amount (when stopping playback and starting again). In my use case, being an electronic music producer with a need for as close to sample accurate sync as possible, this is an issue. Presumably the problem occur...

Re: Audio sync without 1 bar delay
For my workflow, the 1-bar delay is quite annoying. Right now I am actually experimenting with turning audio sync off and just setting the Midronome tempo to the same as Logic manually. Logic is only sending start/stop. So far it works better. The Midronome doesn't have to "think" about th...

Re: [A] DAW Plugin - community open-source project
Awesome, thanks for the feedback and yes a Logic "how-to" would be great, I'll happily push this!! :D If you want to make a video, even better, then we can edit it together and I'll put it on the Midronome youtube channel with the others (I can add a link/reference to whatever you want of...

Re: [A] DAW Plugin - community open-source project
Now my main issue is getting the external sequencers to start and stop in tandem with the DAW. Had a blast syncing a Korg ER-1, Behringer TD-3-MO and Korg SQ-1 (for pitch CV to the TD-3-MO), but when I tried adding parts in the DAW, things got messy. Thanks for testing! To sync start/stop with the ...

Re: [A] DAW Plugin - community open-source project
I am trying to get the plugin working in Logic, but no joy so far. Was expecting the plugin to generate a signal similar to that of the sync file generator (I have set the channel output to a dedicated audio interface output which feeds the Midronome input), but there is no activity on the channel m...
