Well, it does not sync in that sense. For now, Midronome receives the tempo from the application and allows me to forward the tempo to my pedals. This is a limitation since the app cannot really read the data. I will open a post on an idea on this regard

pretty easy! I simply connected the ipad usb-c port to the midronome usb and it worked. Simply and easy. Yeap that was it. I had it to SEP. Would be good on the manual to indicate that it would prevent the MUTE from working as MUTE. Thanks!

Some more findings:

The mute button sends the same MIDI parameters as the play button. I have an external device which has learn that when tapping on play it will start-stop the song, and the mute behave exactly the same

I have updated from firmware 0.1 to 1.0, but it still does the same
